Financial support is provided for setting up a NEW FOOD PROCESSING UNIT or for the UPGRADATION OF AN EXISTING UNIT. Under this scheme, people living in India who want to advance in the FOOD SECTOR, or those who already have a business and want to EXPAND it, can apply and avail the benefits.

2. Support to Organizations
Support is provided to Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Self Help Groups (SHGs), and Producers Cooperatives across their entire value chain.

3. Training & Capacity Building
The scheme provides Training & Capacity-Building Support to improve skills and knowledge in the food sector.

4. Marketing Support
Marketing support is provided for integration with the organized supply chain and to help businesses grow.
