The scheme seeks to support MICRO FOOD PROCESSING ENTERPRISES through a package of support and services. These include:
  1. Financial support for setting up a NEW FOOD PROCESSING UNIT OR UPGRADATION OF AN EXISTING UNIT. Under this scheme, all the people living in India who want to advance themselves in the FOOD SECTOR OR they already have a Business and want to EXPAND it, then they can apply for this scheme and avail the benefits.
  2. Support to Farmer Producer Organizations , Self Help Groups , and Producers Cooperatives along their entire value chain
  3. Training & capacity-building support.
  4. Marketing support for their integration with the organized supply chain.
  5. There are many people who have capabilities in themselves and also have some knowledge of the FOOD SECTOR. But due to lack of money he is not able to start anything new. So, by taking advantage of this scheme, you can START-UPS PMFME.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PMFME SCHEME:-

  1. Applicant must be a resident of India.
  2. Must be above 18 years of age.
  3. Only one person in the family will get this benefit
HOW MUCH SUBSIDY WILL BE GIVEN IN PMFME SCHEME:-
  1. If you apply for Pradhan Mantri Formalization of Micro food Enterprises Loan individually for industries, you will have to:
    1. Subsidy up to 35% will be given up to a maximum of Rs 10 lakh.
  1. For Farmer Producer Organization (FPO), Farmer Producer Company (FPC), Self Help Group (SHG) etc. to establish common infrastructure –
    1. Subsidy up to 35% in which you will get subsidy up to Rs 3.5 crore.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR NEW UNIT IN PMFME SCHEME:-

  1. Applicant’s Aadhar Card, Pan Card
  2. Email-id, Contact No
  3. Last 6-month-old bank statement
  4. Address proof documents electricity bill/ration card/telephone bill/voter card
  5. You must have quotations for the machines, equipment, etc.
  6. If you are already running your own business or partnership firm, then all the documents of your business you must have.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR PMFME SCHEME (REGISTRATION):-

  1. First of all you have to go to the official website of PMFME scheme prescribed under this scheme.
  2. After which you will see the link for online registration on the right hand side, on that you will have to sign up first. After signing up, you will get the ID password.
  3. After logging in, you have to fill the entire form in about six steps (in which you will be asked about your personal information, bank information, information about setting up business, financial records and other information). If you fill it slowly, you will understand. That document will be sent to you after uploading it.
  4. You have to submit the form, after submission you will get the submitted application form and as per the rules, you have to reach the bank directly with the documents. After verifying your documents, the bank will proceed for the loan process, after which the loan will be given to you in a week or two.

You can track the status of your application online thereafter.
